The Blue Mahseer occurs in various parts of Asia. This blue type develops metallic golden scales and blue undertone through the body and fins. This particular blue variant is wild from thailand with some of the strongest gold and blue color compared to its other adian counterparts. Mahseers inhabit both rivers and lakes, ascending to rapid streams with rocky bottoms for breeding. Like other types of carps, they are omnivorous, eating not only algae, crustaceans, insects, frogs, and other fish, but also fruits that fall from trees overhead. They are very easy to care for and readily accepts pellet foods.
